Please consider this a suggestion letting users paste in their login password in the authorization application.Does the custom shop not handle all this stuff Overly complex.
Ik Multimedia Authorization Manager Serial Number ForQuirky. Is this manager needed or not Do I enter a serial number for a trial product What a dumb idea to even call the authorization manager up, which is what the custom shop application did. Or the plugin. I dont care. But at least I can try the White LA2. Somehow it worked without the authorization manager doing anything. I did enter my custom shop serial, just to see if that works. It did. That that is even possible seems strange to me as well. Whats the point if you have an account whose information you enter when logging in via the custom shop application Again all the plugins have this stupid T-RackS CS in front of their name, which simply never helps. That means the actually useful part of the plugin name almost cannot be seen in the inserts on the mixer view of Reaper. I do hope you improve these very small design flaws, because the plugin products are fine for me. ![]() The Authorization manager does not permit pasting passwords in to the login field. Did I miss some obvious or secret functionality that lets me do this for my very long and complicated, and thus secure password I wanted to try a new product, the LA2A plugin. This flaw in the authorization manager is the reason I dumped the Custom Shop at version 4.0. I had refused to compromise my security by using easy to enter and find passwords. The custom shop application lets me enter the password, but your authorization manage does not. Ik Multimedia Authorization Manager Software Engineers DontEffectively I am forced to change my password so some software engineers dont have to let people paste in their secure passwords like everybody else does. ![]() I have several plugins to my name and the old installers, thankfully. Please tell me this is in the works and is a trivial update. Its that simple. You need to have Custom Shop open and logged in to use a trial of a plugin. So if youre trialing the LA2A you need to have your computer online, logged in to CS and still have time left on the trial. Simple. The Authorization Manager does not enter into this at any point UNTIL you actually purchase the product. Again - simple. As to not having a paste function across the board or remembering ones password I consider that a plus security-wise. That way if someone hacks into your computer they wont be able to easily steal your access to your IK account. ![]() Thanks again for clearing up any misconceptions I might have had. I keep passwords in the 16-40 char range and theyre not easy to read off paper either, so that puts a bumper on my way to authorizing a purchase.
